How much does "Basic Storage" cost?
The rate is based on the size and quantity of the boxes you store. This price includes free boxes,
tape, pick-up and drop-off. Our rate is very economical and we pride ourselves on our service,
reliability and security.
How much does "Flex Storage" cost?
The "Flex Storage" rate is based on the size and weight of the boxes you store. If you are not
storing for the typical summer time-frame there will be an additional charge. This charge will be
calculated based on what your individual storage needs are. "Flex Storage" offers the value of
unlimited flexibility for pick-up and delivery dates. Just call us 2 weeks in advance for your items to
be delivered back to you. Please see our storage rate sheet.
What size are the boxes?
Our main box sizes for storage are;
- Book Box - 18x12x12
- Basic Box - 18x18x18
- Big Box - 24x18x18
What is the minimum amount of boxes you will store?
We will store any amount of items and boxes whether it is only one or one hundred.
When will The UPS Store be picking up storage?
We pick up all year round. You will have to schedule an appointment with us to pick up at your
residence hall or off campus apartment. Our pick-up schedule is the most flexible of any storage
service. We will work with you to schedule a date and time that is most convenient for you. Please
give us 24 hours notice if you wish to have your items picked up.
When will storage be returned?
Storage will be returned by
appointment only. Please call two weeks in advance to set up a delivery
date and time that best suits you.
Where will storage be returned?
We will deliver your storage to your current address or any off campus address you provide.
May I insure my storage?
Yes. The first $100 of value is
free. After that, insurance costs $15.00 per $500 of value. There is no
required minimum insurance.
May I store other items?
We accept many types of unboxed
storage. Refrigerators, bikes, trunks, rugs, futons, etc. are all easily
stored. Ask us for a price quote for unusual items.
When do I get my free boxes?
Anytime! Simply visit our store at 1555 Sherman Ave or our on-campus kiosk.
Why should I reserve my space early?
Time slots are filled
by a first come/first serve basis. Reserve early to insure your preferred
time. Reserving early involves no risk.
